Disabled and Sexy
Normalizing the concept that disabled bodies are equally as sexy as able-bodies has been a mission within the disability community. Although I think that the world has made advancements in the realm of accessibility, people with disabilities are still often thought of as unattractive or undesirable and if we are, we are told that we’re pretty or handsome “despite” our disability. This thinking needs to change. What can each of us do to change this narrative? Do you think of yourself as sexy?
