  Traveling with MD: Tour guides/ Travel agents

  Have you ever used a travel agent or tour operator when planning a trip? Some agents and companies are experienced in serving people with physical disabilities. They might be able to find out about curb cuts or other obstacles that would make navigating with mobility devices difficult. I usually use Google to find out about accessibility. After I look up tours or activities, I check out the pictures people have posted to see if accessibility might be a problem. I will usually contact the company and inquire about accessibility too. I read the comments about the tours and with Google you can ask questions and normally get a quick response from whomever posted about the activity.
