  Hi everyone — welcome to the MD News Forums!

  I’m Patrick- one of the community moderators here! I’m happy to meet you and talk about MD LIFE!! I am also a columnist for our main site.

  This forum exists to give people living with muscular dystrophy, caregivers, and loved ones a supportive place to connect, ask questions, and share experiences.

  Or, simply read along and learn from others; there’s no pressure to post. Many members start by listening and getting a feel for the conversations, and that’s absolutely okay.

  I’ll be here to:

  • Help keep this space respectful, safe, and supportive
  • Share updates or helpful resources
  • Post discussion topics
  • Answer questions about how the group works

  If you’re comfortable, feel free to introduce yourself when you join this growing group, but if you’d rather just follow along for now, you’re always welcome here.

  And just a note, posts here can be viewed publicly. But we do have a private group you can join. For this, you must be a member to create and see posts.
