I am a mom of my 27 year old son who was diagnosed with Beckers before he was born. I also have two brothers that have Beckers as well. I see my son struggling each year to remain independent and active which is a heartbreak for me. He works full time for a financial company and has just now begun dating a new young lady. So far she seems understanding of his disability. My stress is what the future holds for him and my getting older especially when he will need me as his disease progresses.
