  MRI, CT Scans, X-rays, Etc.

  Have you ever needed an x-ray, CT scan, and or a MRI? If you have difficulty with your mobility due to MD how did you explain to the technicians what to do? Did the facility have a lift? Did you get more injured due to technicians not being able to help you? Have you had good experiences during these scans?

  I can still get out of my wheelchair but I cannot move my body over once I am laying down. Some scans require you to lay still or move into different positions. I have never been offered a lift or similar device to safely transfer me for the procedure. It usually takes two strong people to lift me if I cannot do it myself. Fortunately most medical devices can move up and down with a push of a button but transferring can still be dangerous.  Please share your experiences.
