  Assistance During Mammography Exam

  Have you had a mammogram recently? Does the mammogram technician allow you to remain sitting in your wheelchair or transfer to a chair so you don’t have to stand up? Do you usually bring a caregiver or family member who can assist you to remove your clothes and during your mammogram? How could hospitals better accommodate women with disabilities for examinations like this?
