When did you first hear about muscular dystrophy?
I was 12, and I had no idea what ‘muscular dystrophy’ was, nor what it meant. It took me almost a decade to accept what was going on inside my body, and it’s still difficult some four decades later.
How old were you when you first learned about MD? Do you remember where you were and how you felt?
