In the process of being diagnosed. Very strong family history of muscular dystrophy with my father and grandmother. It’s only now that they have linked the genetic factor of muscular dystrophy. My father was diagnosed with other illnesses that were in fact muscular dystrophy. He died from a heart attack aged 57… my grandmother (dads mother) died from a failed kidney transplant the heart attack aged 42…. I. 50 years old and it has hit me very aggressive now and  suddenly. History of evidence started as young as 7 with chronic Achilles weakness and problems. Neck problems at 16, kidneys at 24 muscle and nerve problems at 36 now severe and aggresive.
