  Car Batteries for Wheelchair Accessible Vans

  Did you know that the battery of your wheelchair accessible can die if your car hasn’t been used for a while?

  Today, on my way home from the hair salon, my wheelchair accessible van’s battery died. My mom and I called AAA’s Roadside Assistance and had someone jump start our car. Because of COVID-19, we haven’t been out and about like we used to and our car is paying the price. Wheelchair accessible vans use a lot of battery power to operate the ramp and therefore need new batteries approximately every 5-6 years.
