  Damage to Vehicle Ramp Caused By Another Car

  Has the ramp on your wheelchair accessible ramp ever been run over by another car? If so, was it damaged? Do you have any advice to prevent this from happening or how to handle the situation?

  I have had my ramp run over by another car. Thankfully, it wasn’t damaged but I can’t imagine if it was. My tactic for reducing the chance of having this happen again is to park in less trafficked areas of the parking lot. Although, that isn’t always possible, especially for those with side entry wheelchair accessible vehicles.
