Strangers with MD Reaching Out To You
Do you have social media? Have people with either your specific MD or any MD reached out to you and asked you for help? What sort of help did they ask for from you? Did you feel uncomfortable or open to help?
I recently found a message in my inbox from a young woman desperately seeking answers that I feel like I could not entirely give her. She was in a foreign country, and I knew nothing about the healthcare, her family, or her community, so I felt like the advice I could give would be too specific to someone like myself. I didn’t want to sound too blunt but I just felt I did not have the right answers and someone more qualified dealing with young adults and disability would be better for her.
