The Durable Medical Equipment Company, NuMotion
A couple years ago I had to switch Durable Medical Equipment companies. I went from being with National Seating and Mobility to Numotion.
Last year, was the seventh year that I had owned my wheelchair. It was deemed obsolete and replacement parts were no longer made for it. So, it was time to get a new wheelchair.
My family and I worked tirelessly for 11 months to get me a new wheelchair. NuMotion kept denying that they had received any signatures or paperwork from my doctors. We were forced to resubmit each form of paperwork from my doctors and insurance three times.
It’s a shame that such an unsympathetic and neglectful company is a monopoly for those of us with disabilities.
Have you suffered from NuMotions bad work ethics? How did you go about handeling the situation? Do you have or know of a different DME company that is better?
