  What common misconceptions about Muscular Dystrophy are constantly having to disprove?

  When telling people who aren’t doctors that I have MD the comments I’ve received include “But you’re so young” or “But you’re a woman” and “You look so healthy.” All these comments prove that not only do people know very little about disability but also very little about MD.
