  Difficulties Swallowing Medication Due to Pills Changing

  Occasionally, medication manufacturers change and that can mean the pill itself changes too. Sometimes the size or shape of the pill changes but other times the pill’s coating is modified. I’ve had pills that were once easy to swallow due to a slippery coating that are now matte and difficult to get down my throat.

  Have you experienced this problem too? Did your doctor or pharmacist help to resolve this problem for you and how?
