Omicron: The New Coronavirus Variant.
In just a few weeks since its discovery, Omicron has become highly transmissible and less susceptible to vaccines than other variants. Have you received the vaccine or the booster? Did you still get COVID? Most people infected with Omicron — 34 individuals — were fully vaccinated when they developed symptoms or tested positive for Covid. Fourteen had received a booster dose, while six had previously had the coronavirus.
Does this new variant change your holiday plans? Will you be gathering with your family? Some people have already booked flights and rented different things for the holidays, many of these things might not be refundable. Do you consider the money lost if you stay home or the money saved from not getting sick?
