Creating a Culture of Broader Inclusion in Fashion and Beauty
Hey everyone! Let’s discuss inclusive fashion and beauty. I came across an organization I wanted to highlight.
Guide Beauty is a company with a uniquely designed line of universally inclusive makeup applicators. As they say, “an idea born of love and challenge,” their tools can be used for the beginner learning new techniques, the professional artists, and those with movement and strength challenges.
Founded by Terri Bryant, a celebrity makeup artist who, at the height of her career, began having issues with her hand dexterity and was eventually diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Bryant now works alongside actress, Selma Blair who made her diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis public in 2018. Together they are revolutionizing the beauty community by developing a culture of broader inclusion.
Do you know about this organization or others like it that focus on inclusive beauty and fashion?
