    Well, my legs are gone in a matter of a couple months I went from a cane to a wheelchair which is on order from Amazon. I have fallen many times but got back up with my arms. Any tips on how to be mobile safely would be much appreciated. My MD is from the waist down. Do you think it might travel to my arms?
      • Hi again Glenn. It is common for people with FSHD to have weakened and atrophied muscles in their legs. I don’t know if you know this but FSHD stands for Facio-Scapulo-Humeral which means face, shoulders and upper arms. These are usually the first and most effected muscles by FSHD.       I was diagnosed with FSH 10 years ago but now my legs are going and it feels like I have a tight band around my waist. Not sure which forums I should follow.
