  Troubles relating to people when you have a rare disease

  Unfortunately, I never really felt like I fit in with other kids with Muscular Dystrophy. Because my form of MD is so rare, I never felt like l could relate with others. I feel more comfortable around those that are able-bodied. 

  Do you have a lot of friends with the same disease or are you more comfortable around able-bodies people?
