Toys: Including those with disabilities
I believe that I was so scared of getting a wheelchair because I didn’t see anyone else like me with one. No one on the TV shows I watches, the red carpet, the news, models in the magazines, in the stores, or the toys I played with, were all for typical people with typical bodies. I did not have someone to look up to that was in a wheelchair and even if they were out there I wasn’t taught about them in school, home, or by society.
