Waiting For Help After You Asked, Not Wanting To Be A Burden
Do you become irritated when you ask for help but then have to wait on that person to assist you?
I do not have any personal care attendants. I rely on my parents for help with things. They are usually not urgent tasks but I do not want to wait awhile for them to be done. The other day I wanted a painting removed from my wall so that I could hang my diplomas. Instead of bothering my parents with the task, because I saw they were busy, I tried to take it down my self. I ended up hurting my arm and now I have to apply heat and rest for a few days.
Have you ever injured yourself because you didn’t want to wait on someone or because you didn’t want to burden them with your request?
