I learned that face masks impose heat, friction, and occlusion on the skin, and when combined with a moist environment from breathing, talking, or sweating, this is a recipe for breakouts. Pores get clogged and can become pimples or acne cysts.

Have you noticed if you wear your face mask for a while, then the next day you have pimples? I have been noticing this, and I can only attribute it to my mask. I clean them regularly, and now I think I need to clean my face after wearing a mask.
