Protein
There are many forms of protein for human consumption. Protein is found throughout the body—in muscle, bone, skin, hair, and virtually every other body part or tissue. The National Academy of Medicine recommends that adults get a minimum of 0.8 grams of protein for every kilogram of body weight per day or just over 7 grams for every 20 pounds.
It is suggested to Get your protein from plants when possible. Upgrade your animal protein sources and plants; foods high in protein include meat, fish, poultry, eggs, legumes, and soy products like tofu or tempeh.
How do you get your protein? Do you have difficulty eating a protein goal? Do you find it helps with your MD (along with exercise, water, a good sleep schedule, etc.)?
