Taking Small Steps to Change Habits in 2023
With a new year also comes a fresh start. More than any other time of year, people feel the need to change. Change their mindsets and change their habits.
People act like life will change just because it’s the start of a new year but in reality, we have to make change happen. In order to do that we have to put systems in place. We can make goals all day long but without the proper systems to achieve those goals, we’ll never see results.
One quote that I’ve been trying to remember is by James Clear, author of Atomic Habits, “if we can improve by 1% each day, we can be 37.78% better by the end of the year.”
Achievements don’t happen over night and they’re not accomplished by leaps and bounds. They happen with small steps everyday. Consistently.
