Disability intersects with all of the other identities that a person has, such as race, sexuality, and gender, yet it doesn’t receive as much attention as it deserves. I was adopted from Santiago Chile. Although I don’t speak Spanish very well I feel like a part of the Hispanic community. I am part of the LGBT community and work hard for equality for women. But I am most passionate about accessibility and inclusion for those with disabilities.
Do you have any other identities or part of any other minorities? What communities are you a part of other than the MD and disability communities?
