Troubles with blood circulation and blood draws
Because of my bad blood circulation, phlebotomists have troubles taking my blood. My veins in the crook of my arm are basically non-existent so I have to have my blood drawn from my hand. Whether this is because of inactivity of my body or because of the numerous needles that have damaged this veins, I don’t know. Recently, when having my blood drawn, the phlebotomist couldn’t get anything from my hand and to draw from the side of my forearm.
Do you experience problems with circulation and therefore drawing blood? Have you had any collapsed or damaged veins due to an over abundance of tests and IVs?
