Lauren ‘Lolo’ Spencer is a young woman living with ALS who runs her own YouTube channel called Sitting Pretty Lolo. Her content ranges from educating people about her disability to her fashion style choices as a woman in a wheelchair. As well as being a YouTuber she is a model and now actress. She stares in the new Sundance movie “Give Me Liberty.”
“Give Me Liberty” is a story about a young man named Vic who is a medical transport driver. In the movie Vic is torn between his obligation to drive his Russian family members to a funeral while also helping Tracy, an African American woman in a wheelchair. You can watch the trailer here.
