Do you have any body piercings? Do you remove them before surgery or scans such as an MRI, CT or X-Ray? Did you that there’s a type of jewelry called retainers that are made of glass and don’t show up on scans and are perfectly safe to wear during surgery?

With piercing retainers you can remove your regular metal jewelry with the hole closing up. Glass doesn’t show up on X-Ray scans and won’t disrupt machines like MRIs. Retainers can even be good for work since they are clear and discreet.
