Accessible Weddings
As I’ve gotten older a lot of my friends have been getting married and inviting me to their weddings. I have had both good and bad experiences. Usually the hardest part is accessibility at the venue. Whether as a bridesmaid or a guest usually the place is not 100% accessible. Whether it’s bathrooms, entrances, or inaccessible spaces due to the building.
What are some experiences you’ve had attending weddings? What are some things they could have done to make sure it was accessible to all their guests? Have you planned with the wedding party before hand to make sure everything was accessible for you?
