Accidentally Running Over Partners Foot With Power Wheelchair
Have you run over your partner’s foot with your wheelchair?
I guess it’s inevitable that when you’re an interabled couple, the mobile device can, on occasion, get in the way. I’ve accidentally run over my boyfriend’s foot twice now in the three and a half months we’ve been dating. I feel so bad every time it happens but I guess my brain is focused on moving forward at the same time. Thankfully, he’s good about it and knows that I didn’t mean to do it.

I haven’t run over my wife for a while, because she knows how I drive! Unfortunately we had to give up holding hands while out for a “walk and roll” as we call it. Also unfortunately, even though my service dog is really good at keeping out of my way, I sometimes make an unexpected turn or reverse and run over her toes. I’m glad I got a bigger dog, so I’ve never hurt her seriously. She yelps loudly when I do it and everybody stares at me for abusing my dog!
