I recently watched a video by Squirmy and Grubs as they prepared for their trip to Florida. Shane needs support for his body throughout the flight and therefore requires a child’s car seat. The video shows Shane and Hannah picking out a more comfortable car seat at a nearby Target.

How do you find support for your body during air travel? Are you able to sit up on your own or do you need something like a harness or a car seat to keep you upright? When you’re on the flight do you need to be carried to bathroom? Are you allowed early access into the plane to transfer out of your wheelchair and set up your designated seat to fit your needs? Has the plane company ever lost valuable medical supplies or pieces to your chair?
