• Becoming dependent on medications

I take Melatonin every day to help me sleep. A decade ago, just a quarter of a 1mg tablet could put me out. These days, I take half of a 3mg tablet layered with other sleep meds and anti-anxiety medications.

I can understand why some people would suffer through insomnia for fear of becoming dependent on a supplement like Melatonin. Because of my form of MD, I have to sleep more to regenerate energy so I don’t mind taking Melatonin

Do you refuse to take certain medications because you’re afraid of relying to heavily on them? Would you rather turn to caffeine to give you energy rather than a sleep aid?
