I recently came across a quote that said “Do you ever realize how much your body loves you? I mean, it’s always trying to keep you alive. That’s all your body has to live for. Your body is making sure you breathe while you sleep, stopping cuts from bleeding, fixing broken bones, finding ways to beat the illnesses that might get you. Your body literally loves you so much. It’s time to start loving your body back.”

Regardless of your disease, your body still loves you and protects you. Seeing doctors, going to physical therapy and eating well ate a few of the many ways to still maintain the health of your body.

What are some ways you show your body love? Has your disease ever contributed to your insecurities? What are your thoughts on this quote? Do you have any quotes that have helped you to love your body?
