  Choosing your health over romance

  Have you ever had to break up with someone because your disease got in the way of dating or because of you had to over protective of your health? Did the person refuse to acknowledge your disability? Did they invite you to travel or go to places that were obviously inaccessible? Perhaps they understood your disease and your needs but refused to be involved in advocacy or the disability community you’re apart of? Did you discuss these issues with your partner?
