There can be disputes between family and friends over minor and major things. An example can be a family member or friend arguing in your defense about wanting people around them to wear a mask for your safety. If I have to be around someone I do not know then I want them to wear a mask for both our safety. I know my family and friends would defend me against someone who tried to shame me or refuse my request.

Have you ever had to deal with a situation where a friend or family memeber defended you, and in turn cause a strain on their relationship with that person? Did you feel guilty about coming between them or that somehow it is your fault? How do you deal with the situation after everyone has calmed down?
