Devices that give you back independence
As someone with a disability, I know how important independence is. Last Saturday I attended the Los Angeles Abilities Expo. The expo was filled with many incredible inventions that will help individuals with disabilities live more independent lives. Devices that scoop up your food and bring it to your mouth or stands for your hairdryer take the effort out of everyday tasks.
Do you own any assistive technology that has given you back your independence or helps you to live on your own? Does the disabilities tax stop you from investing in assistive devices?
