  Disability Services and the Pandemic

  Do you think people with disabilities require a specialized sector for pandemics, natural disasters, etc. supported by the government? People with disabilities have different needs. As a woman with muscular dystrophy, I require a unique toilet, accessible entrances and transportation, and help with lifting and reaching for things. Not everyone with muscular dystrophy has the same symptoms, which is valid for all disabilities. How has your community handled people with disabilities and the Coronavirus?
