Does Your Partner Show You Love Through Advocacy?
Every time my partner advocates for me, it always warms my heart. Not only does it take some of the weight off my shoulders to always have to speak up for myself but it affirms that he is aware of my needs.
Even as he searches for his first apartment, he keeps me and wheelchair accessibility in mind in the hopes that I am able to visit his new place often and spend the night. For him to consider my accessibility needs is, in my opinion, an act of love.
