Even Homemade Mask Can Dramativally Reduce Tranmission
I recently learned that “even homemade masks can dramatically reduce transmission rates if enough people wear them in public.”
What kind of mask do you use if you go out in public? Do you have difficulty placing the cover on your face? Do you require help? Are you afraid your mask will fall or break in society? Do you carry more than one mask? What is it like where you live?
Here in Wilmington, NC, I see about half of the population wearing masks. I have ordered several different kinds of covers, from medical-grade to local and handmade. I need help tying the mask or a table that I can place my elbows on so that I can lift my arms to tie it.
