As a disabled parent, do you ever feel envious of able-bodied parents who can do more than you? Do you fear that once your child is older, that they will be jealous of their friends able-bodied parents? What do you do to overcome these thoughts and emotions? Have you discussed your disability with your child and if so, how did you go about it?

Yes, kids are usually much more accepting than adults too. Plus, if I child is raised by a disabled parent I believe they’re much more likely to be accepting of all disabilities. All children should be be raised to dispel disability stigmas and myths in my opinion.
