Food, Dietitian, and MD
It has been suggested that consulting a dietitian would be beneficial to muscular dystrophy patients. Due to weak muscles, it may be difficult achieving good nutrition. Dietitians assess nutritional status, dietary intake, feeding abilities and provide recommendations for modifying food so it is easier to eat, as well as recipes, meal plans, and other strategies to maximize your nutritional intake.
What advice do you have when it comes to getting the most out of your food? Do you us any alternative methods of preparing your food? Do you have any substitutions for hard to manage foods?
