How do you approach going to events nowadays, some places are still in semi lockdown, and other places are fully open. Have you attended any events, and did people seem more willing to accommodate you after Covid, or do people seem to have gone back to post covid times? I have been able to access two new spaces in the city I live near. One showed me the back entrance, which I didn’t know existed, and I have lived there for 5 years, and another business got a ramp after I messaged them on Facebook. Both of those things took me asking somebody for something, and I wonder if there will be a time that I don’t have to ask and accessibility is there from the beginning. Sometimes I don’t want to call ahead and ask so many questions about accessibility, and I hope there is a time I won’t have to worry so much about it as a powerchair user.
