• Happiness is a Mindset, not a Destination

It’s always fascinated me what lengths people sometimes go to so they can “find” or “achieve” happiness when, really, happiness is a mindset, not a destination. It’s about being content with what we have and noticing the things in our lives that already exist and are blessings.

As much as I love things like good food and shopping, it’s meaningful moments that really make my heart smile. I’m happiest when I’m spending time with friends or cuddling with my boyfriend. The things that bring me peace are being in my backyard and lying on the couch with my dog.

What comes to mind when you think of being happy? When are you most content and at peace?

I agree with what you said. For me, I’m happiest when I’m holding my new grandson, he’s so precious!

I always pay a price physically when I visit him, but it’s so worth it!

Yes, sometimes the most worthwhile activities and experiences do take it out of us but that’s what makes life worth living!
