  How Do You Feel About Your Scars

  How many scars do you have from surgeries and operations? Do you love your scars and are proud of them or do they make you feel self-conscious?

  I don’t have many scars but the ones I do have, I love. They show that I made it through another tough surgery, that my body chose to keep going. Surgeries are always risky for me not just because I have MD but because I have a condition called Malignant Hyperthermia which can be fatal and most surgeons and anesthesiologists are fearful of. My scars are my battle wounds.
