Lacrosse Ball for Muscle Knots
I get a lot muscle knots in my back. I do see a chiropractor but a Physical Therapist recommend that I use a Lacrosse ball behind my back while I’m sitting in wheelchair. Once the ball is placed on a knot, I just lean on it and move back and forth to loosen the muscle. It has helped me so much to loosen that tension. I also use the ball on my shoulders, my lower back and under my thighs and feet. For me, using the ball is a lot easier than using something like a Thera Cane Massager (aka a shepherd’s hook) which can be heavy and difficult to maneuver.
Have you used a tennis or Lacrosse ball for your knots? Is there another tool or method that works better for you and your body?
