      The month of May is Mental Health Awareness Month. It has been observed in May in the United States since 1949, reaching millions of people in the United States through the media, local events, and screenings.

      How do you decompress from stress? Have you focused more on your mental health since being diagnosed with MD?

      I personally try to breathe deep and talk myself through whatever is going on with me mentally. Recognizing stress and anxiety before it becomes too much for me is something I have practiced over the past two years.
