Mental Health during the summer
Summer can be hard on my mental health on occasion. It is hard for me to see other people’s social media posts. They share pictures of themselves on vacation, traveling out of state, going in the pool, going to the beach, going on cruises and I begin to feel FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out). Traveling and swimming in pools is nearly impossible for me with my type of MD.
How do you cope with these sort of feelings? Do you ever take a break from social media? Do you combat these feelings by practicing gratefulness?
