  I have the utmost respect for our military members. It takes courage to want to protect one’s country and citizens. Although I never felt the call to join the military, I have known several service members and appreciate their friendship and perspectives.

  Did you serve in the military? Did your muscular dystrophy affect your military career? Why did you join? And please feel free to share any stories or feelings about it? Were you able to claim disability due to your MD while in the military? Has it been difficult to leave your position, or were you able to modify your job?
