This Monday, our Monday Shoutout on MD News Today’s social media features the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
For the last 70 years, the MDA has been committed to patients living with muscular dystrophy by providing care, resources and funding for research. Since their inception, more than $1 billion dollars have been raised to accelerate the discovery of effective therapies and cures. They provide support for not only those living with muscular dystrophy but also for people living with other related conditions such as ALS, and various types of neuromuscular diseases.
