      Today I spent one hour on the phone with the IRS and then another 30 minutes on the phone with my insurance company. I am exhausted now. I am not exactly sure what causes fatigue after being on hold on the phone or trying to explain your problem to whoever is on the other line.

      When you have to make phonecalls for whatever reason and you know it is going to take long, how do you prepare? Do you keep them on speaker phone? Do you have Bluetooth? Can you hold the phone with your hand?
