  Reasons for not wanting a PCA

  Do you rely on your partner and family members to be your caregivers? Is it because you can’t afford a PCA? Is navigating the medical system seem too difficult? Are you afraid of losing what independence you have to a stranger?

  Whatever care I need my parents usually provide it for me. As we both have become older I think it is time I look into a PCA. I do not need someone for all of my needs but I could definitely use help in some areas. The idea of looking into it seems daunting. I hope I am making it worse in my mind than it really is but as with all new things I get nervous.
